Sun plays a very crucial role in determining the weather of an area. The heat of the Sun warms the surface of the Earth near the equator. As a result, the air of the surrounding region also gets heated up. The hot air being lighter, rises up and cooler air from the poles moves in to fill the space. This process results in stirring up winds.
Moisture and humidity also depend on sunshine. Heat from the sun evaporates the water from the seas which results in cloud formation. When the clouds cool down, their moisture falls as rain.
Warm air rises over polar air
Winds turn left in the southern hemisphere
Moisture and humidity of an area are determined by the amount of sunshine. The entire climate depends on the sunshine in the area.
Seasons
Different parts of the Earth experience different kinds of seasons. This is because of Earth’s revolution around the Sun. The Earth takes 365 and a quarter days to orbit round the Sun once.
When the Earth revolves around the Sun, the tilt exposes the Northern Hemisphere to the Sun. After six months, the Southern Hemisphere leans towards the Sun. The countries in the hemisphere facing the Sun have summers, while the countries in the hemisphere leaning away from the Sun have winters.
From March to September, the north pole is tilted towards the Sun. The northern hemisphere has spring followed by summer, and the southern hemisphere has autumn followed by winter.

The Earth spins around its axis, causing day and night. The Earth also orbits round the sun at the same time causing seasons.
